This study aims to explore the influence of individual, contextual and interpersonal factors on adolescents’ self-regulated learning, focusing on Knowledge of Cognition and Regulation of Cognition. A cross-sectional study was designed. The sample comprised 989 adolescents aged 13-16 years from 10 government and private schools in Imphal East and Imphal West districts of Manipur. Data were collected between February and April 2023 using demographic questionnaire, Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI), and a self-developed Adolescent Interpersonal Relationship Scale (AIRS). Hierarchical regression analysis was conducted using SPSS version 23. The results indicated that school type significantly predicted higher scores in both knowledge of cognition and regulation of cognition. Age, birth order, school type, resistance to peer negative influences, teacher encouragement, teacher responsiveness and parent responsiveness significantly influenced self-regulated learning. The results highlight the importance of supportive school environment and quality relationships with parents and teachers in developing self-regulated learning among adolescents
